Children, snacks, school and free time

Today more than ever we are looking for light and healthy foods that we can easily prepare in our kitchen, so we've put together a series of recipes/ideas for your children's snacks.

Snack time is a crucial time for children to recharge their batteries and regain their energy for their daily activities.

We should offer our little ones light, nutritious foods, avoiding heavy, high-fat snacks. We should also be careful not to overdo the portions, remembering that snacks are a "support" and certainly not a substitute for a normal meal.

We can summarize the characteristics that a good snack should have in three points:

1) Moderate - pay attention to portions;

2) Proportionate - monitor your calorie intake and avoid carbonated and sugary drinks with your snack;

3) Varied - always offer different flavors;

It's important to pay attention to the type of flour you use. Choose artisanal flours, obtained from slow milling and containing wheat germ, so they are easily digestible and low in gluten.
Here are some ideas, many more will be added over time.
