Cook the broccoli rabe in boiling water, and halfway through, add the pasta. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a pan and sauté the anchovies with chili pepper and bay leaves. If you like, add a clove of garlic, which you can then discard.

Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and return it to the pan. Add the prepared sauce and stir over the heat, add a grind of pepper and it's ready to be served.
